Customize and optimise your own robots to do their tasks more efficiently by attaching cool robots parts. Draw faces and name your robots to add personality to your robot friends
Instructions
The world is covered in a smog of pollution and it's your job to find a way to clear it all. Clearing junk and reviving trees will aid towards this goal but to arrive at a more permanent solution you'll need to find a way to maintain consistent power to the secret eco-weapon hidden within an abandoned lab. Maintaining power is no simple task. You'll have to automate the fueling of 5 generators spread out across the map by using programmable drones to keep them fed with a constant source of specialized renewable fuel.
Drone
- The drones' behaviour can be set by setting up code nodes in the programming window.
- Available nodes can be found by left-clicking and typing in the search bar. Simple nodes automate entire tasks for those unfamiliar with programming, and advanced nodes can be used by those looking to experiment
- Drones can be used to harvest from junk piles, bushes and trees. They can also withdraw and store items, craft item recipes, and maintain farms.
- The programming provides helpful error reporting to teach you when you make mistakes
- The Bark node will display the passed-in text above the Drone's head and can be used for debugging
- Drag off a pin to bring up a contextual search for that connection
Farm Plots
- Built via the construction player tool. The first click will place the first position, and the second click will confirm the farm plot size and place the farm tiles
- Tiles can be developed by
- Tilling with the rake (key 2)
- Planting with the the rake's alt click (key 2)
- Watering with the spray gun (key 3)
- Harvesting with the gathering tool (key 1)
- All plants use the same seed, but the player can grow different types by placing Effoectors that proximally alter the conditions of each tile
- Drones can also be used to till, plant, water, and harvest from farms with their effectiveness determined by their equipped components
Drone Components
- Drone components are items that can be equipped to drones to improve aspects such as inventory space and the speed of performing actions like harvesting.
- Components come in multiple tiers of effectiveness, with the player being required to discover the recopies for higher tier component out in thew world
- Components cost memory to equip. Use higher tier body components to have access to more memory.
Fog
- Walking into the fog will damage you until you pass out and respawn at the base
- Fog clearing will diffuse out over time
